What we do

We make buildings easier to operate

Bleuwave Controls exists because there is a persistent gap in commercial building controls: the people accountable for how a building performs are rarely the people the controls contractor answers to.

Systems get installed as part of a construction package, commissioned under schedule pressure, handed over with partial documentation, and then operated for fifteen years by a facility team that was never trained on them. The result is buildings full of capable equipment that nobody can fully use.

Our model is direct: we work for building owners, facility managers, property managers and multi-site operators. We assess what is actually installed, engineer and install what is needed, prove it works, document it, train the people who will run it, and support it afterwards.

We cover HVAC controls and lighting controls together rather than as separate disciplines, because occupancy, scheduling and after-hours behaviour are one set of decisions about a building — not two.

How we work

The commitments behind the work

Owner-direct accountability

We work for the people responsible for the building. The team that assesses the system engineers it, installs it, commissions it and services it — so there is no gap between what was promised and who answers for it.

Open where it is practical

We prioritise interoperable protocols and serviceable systems where the equipment and budget allow, so the next contractor you hire can support what we built. Where a closed platform is genuinely the better fit, we say why.

Evidence over assertion

Trends, test records and documentation are deliverables, not paperwork. If we say a sequence works, there is a functional test record showing it, and if we say a change saved runtime, there is a baseline it is measured against.

Field capability

Controls engineering separated from field execution produces sequences that do not survive contact with the equipment. Our engineering and our installation are the same organisation for that reason.

Safety and site conduct

We work in occupied hospitals, schools, plants and offices. Badging, escort requirements, work areas, lockout procedures and daily cleanup are handled to the facility's standard.

Claims we can support

We describe capability where it is accurate and supportable. We do not claim factory authorization, dealer status or certification we do not hold, and we do not publish savings figures without a project-specific basis.

Licensing & credentials

What we publish, and what we do not

We publish licenses, registrations, certifications and manufacturer training only where they have been verified. We do not list a manufacturer relationship to imply capability we do not have, and we do not describe ourselves as an authorized dealer or certified partner of any controls platform without written authorization from that manufacturer.

Where we can integrate with or service a platform, that is what we say — and if a system requires manufacturer-specific software or credentials we do not hold, we will tell you before the proposal rather than after.
