We verify that when the request comes in and tell you before dispatch if we cannot fully support the platform, rather than billing you for a visit that cannot resolve the issue.

Where remote access already exists and the owner has authorized it, yes — and it often resolves the issue entirely. Schedule corrections, override clearing, database and graphics fixes and a great deal of diagnosis can be done remotely. Anything requiring physical verification of a sensor, actuator or wiring needs someone on site.

The facility and address, the BAS platform if you know it, which equipment or spaces are affected, the exact alarm text, when it started and what has already been tried. A photo of the controller label and a screenshot of the alarm or the affected trend are the two most useful things you can attach.

Usually, and that is often the most valuable outcome of a diagnostic visit.
